The need to adjust the map printing scale, and to embed a corporate logo into the map image led to the second vinyl globe. When completed, this globe replaced MB1 in the Globe and Satellite Model in the DigitalGlobe headquarters lobby from 2004 until the corporate headquarters were relocated.

This globe is currently in private collection in Colorado.
